Camp Gilbert 2026
Camp Gilbert, youth camp for young people with Diabetes, is a project the Sioux Falls Cosmopolitan Club has supported for years. This year's Camp, held June 21-26 at the Methodist Church Camp on Lake Poinsett, was a wonderful success. There were 74 "campers" and 38 counsellors, staff and volunteers.

Sioux Falls Cosmos Celebrate 100 years of Community Service!
The Sioux Falls Cosmopolitan Club is 100 years young! On February 14, 1925 our club was chartered and that centennial event was celebrated on May 3, 2025 in conjunction with the North Central Federation Convention in Sioux Falls at the Holiday Inn City Centre. In addition, local news outlet, Dakota News Now produced a segment, Someone You Should Know, that featured 50 year club member, Darwin Sletten, along with some photos from the club archives of past and current club activities and projects.

Welcome to the website for the Sioux Falls Noon Cosmopolitan Club. We are a club that fights diabetes through research and treatment.  Our club currently meets for lunch the first and third Mondays of each month at 11:45 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at The Ramkota (3200 W. Maple St). Every week we have civic leaders, business leaders and other community programs come and visit with us about topics that are in the news or important to our club. At lunch we get to catch up with friends, brag about good things happening in our lives and have some good fun.  
 
Each year our club contributes thousands of dollars to a range of community causes with a special focus on the education and treatment of diabetes and research to find a cure.
 
 We are involved in many events, charities and fundraisers to support our community, some of which include:
 
THE SIOUX EMPIRE SPORTSMENS SHOW
THE SWEETEST DAY OF GOLF (last year alone we raised over $30,000 to support scholarships for Camp Gilbert, a camp for children with diabetes and the VCP "Tiny  Homes" project)
 

We are actively involved in the Veterans Community Project of Sioux Falls.  Our club has purchased a tiny home with a $70,000 contribution.
